Freshly baked croissants, generously filled focaccia sandwiches and speciality coffee have helped make Trancio one of Conwy's most talked-about independent food spots since opening in late 2025.

Located on Castle Street, the coffee shop has quickly built a loyal following for its authentic Italian approach, with founder Billy bringing a taste of Northern Italy to the heart of North Wales.

Growing up in Italy, Billy wanted to create more than just a place to grab lunch or coffee. Every aspect of Trancio is rooted in Italian food culture, from the ingredients used to the traditional methods behind the freshly baked goods produced daily on-site.

Step inside and you'll find buttery croissants and pastries lining the counter, speciality coffee from Heartland Coffee being poured throughout the day, and freshly baked focaccia transformed into generously loaded sandwiches packed with quality Italian ingredients.
