New for 2022: Cafe Notos

Cafe Notos is a new Cafe-Deli in Rhosneigr, serving freshly made breakfasts, lunch and snacks with a focus on sustainability.

According to their website, ‘Notos’ represents the love for the local area and their passion for being in the ocean enjoying the beauty of the natural environment.

I spoke to Becky, the owner of Café Notos to find out about what the importance of using local suppliers to help protect the environment.

“Café Notos is a café-deli serving quality, healthy food sourced from local providers as well as speciality coffee from Heartland Coffee.

As a café we want to support our local area however we can, whether it’s through ensuring we have sustainability initiatives in place to help protect North Wales’ stunning natural beauty or using local suppliers wherever possible, we are committed to offering quality food that doesn’t cost the Earth.

“At Notos we believe that we can offer quality food at a price that doesn’t cost the Earth. We know that our actions matter and that every 1% makes a difference. That is why we have taken steps to help make it easy for everyone that visits to make environmentally conscious decisions.

Vegan and vegetarian options are found throughout our menu as well as locally sourced meat options to limit our impact on these items where we can.”

Cafe Notos is currently open 7 days a week between 7:30am-5pm.
